Thought Bubble Festival will be a 3 day event to celebrate the art of comics and will not only have guest signings but will also include workshops for young and budding talent and those interested in writing and the art of comics.
This will be one of the biggest comic book events in the UK this year which will include around 150 individual tables of comics for sale along with collector merchandise so if you are planning on going make sure you take enough cash to get you from one side to the other, as at these type of events tend to frown upon those hanging in the corner flicking through comics with no intent to buy.
Thought Bubble will be a great place to find awesome new indie comics you might not have heard of, the even helps promote both the mainstream comic industry as well as help the independent publishers.
The festival will take place between the 20th and 22nd of November with the main convention taking place on the 21st.
Guests from TB09 included Ben Templesmith, Charlie Adlard, Paul Cornell, Andy Diggle, Leigh Gallagher, Kieron Gillen, Anton Johnston, Jock, Barry Kitson, Jamie Mckelvie, Sean Phillips, Lian Sharp and my favorite comic artist Adi Granov.
