Daredevil on Netflix

When ABC, Marvel Entertainment and Disney come together to air a show on Netflix you know it’s going to be a big project. The project will bring the Daredevil back to live action in 2015.

The series will be the first in an array of TV shows based on Marvel comics to air on Netflix. The idea of airing them on Netflix will massivly improve the reach of the show and at the same time likley reduce online piracy.

The TV show will be a whole new incarnation of Matt Murdock / Daredevil and will likley go into detail of his origin. It will air 12 years after the Ben Affleck movie which wont have any connection to the series.

Charlie Cox has been officially named to play Matt Murdock aka Daredevil. The actor best known from roles in Boardwalk Empire and Stardust.

The series will also likey be looking for an Electra, King Pin and a few other Marvel characters to fill out the series. At the moment we don’t know if the series will cross over into any of the movie franchises as they are all made partly by disney.
