Aquaman movie

Warner Bros and DC have confirmed that a movie based on Aquaman is in development which will tie into the Justice League movie franchise.

DC have so far dominated the market on comic book shows on TV but since the Dark Knight movies have finished Marvel have made a massive move on the films. If everything goes to plan with Batman vs Superman and the Justice League movies they could dominate the small and the big screen.

Jason Momoa from Game of Thrones and Stargate Atlantis will play Arthur Curry aka Aquaman. The first stand alone Aquaman movie will actually be the third movie Momoa will play Aquaman in as he is set to be in Batman vs Superman due out in 2016 and Justice League due in 2017.

The Aquaman movie is due out 2018.
