The fifth installment in the Avengers series, is scheduled for release on May 1, 2026.

The film will be directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, who return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) after their successful work on previous Avengers films.

In a surprising twist, Robert Downey Jr. is set to portray the iconic villain Doctor Victor von Doom, marking his return to the MCU in a new role.

Chris Evans is expected to return along with other returning actors include Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson/Captain America, Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter, Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange, and Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man.

Additionally, the film will introduce the Fantastic Four to the MCU, with Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm/Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/The Thing.
