Wonder Woman TV Series

DC may well have produced one of the most success full Comic themed TV series with Smallville. In fast Smallville has been so popular it has even made it to the elusive 10th Series which most TV series aim for, even Lost only made it to season 6.

Smallville’s success comes down to the creators of the show, adapting the the current TV audience and keeping it tied into the comics when ever possible.

That in mind the next DC TV series will be Wonder Woman. All we have confirmed so far is that it will be produced by David E. Kelley (Ally McBeal, Lake Placid).

So far nobody knows if the series will be based on the classic origin or the modern revamp which begun with issue Wonder Woman #600 although it will likely be somewhere in between for a TV audience and and the average comic book fan which would have only seen Diana Princess of the Amazons in cross overs and the Justice League comics.

Wonder Woman was purposely left out of Smallville even when the creators wanted to include her, there has been rumored movie since 2001 so the series could have been planned any time since then.
