First picture of Thor’s Loki

Thanks to Marvel.com we have the first concept art of Loki from next year’s Thor movie. Comic book movies have been getting more and more ambitious and Thor will be Marvel testing the waters with the general audience before they assemble the full Avengers line-up.

In next year’s Thor movie Loki will be played by Tom Hiddleston (Casualty) and be the main villain to Thor who is played by Star Trek’s Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman.

The release date for Thor is still set to 6th May 2011 with the Avengers movie following May the 2011 with Captain America in between.

Loki is also rumoured to make an appearance in the Avenger s movie although the screen play probabaly isn’t finished yet.

The concept art has been released for this year’s SDCC for those lucky enough to attend can also find concept art for next year’s Captain America movie with Chris Evans, one of the hardest Avengers to get right on the big screen.
