Gambit Movie

He’s one of the most famous and popular of the X-Men and yet has only featured in one of the more forgettable movies. Finally Fox is breaking out the big guns as a Gambit solo movie goes into production set for a 2017 release date.

The film will star Channing Tatum who has been attached to the role since around 2014 but it’s taken a long time to get the right time to make this movie. Producer Simon Kinberg who worked on Days of Future Past, First Class, The Martian, Deadpool and the upcoming X-Men Apocalypse and can’t make a bad movie is also working on the project.

With the movie being a solo mutant film it will give us a lot more time to get to know the new Gambit without fighting for screen time with his fellow X-Men. Even though it is a solo X-men movie we will likely seem some cameos in the movie much as Colossas in Deadpool.

The movie is said to feature Belladonna Boudreaux who will work with Gambit in pulling off a big heist to soften the whole comic book side of things.
