The Wolverine 3 confirmed for 2017

Thanks to a recently interview with Hugh Jackman we have news he is working on a new Wolverine movie with director James Mangold who directed the 2013 The Wolverine movie. The sequel is currently set for a 2017 release date.

In the interview Jackman doesn’t give much away other than saying in this movie.

It takes Wolverine in a completly different new head space and world space and every way somewhere new.

It’s a formula that worked for the 2013 movie and has left fans trying to think where Wolverine hasn’t been in the movies so far. At the moment the most wanted story seems to be Old Man Logan which would be an amazing movie but might be hard to pull off with the Hulk and Red Skull being the main villains in that one.

One likley story could be a movie loosly based on The Package where Wolverine travels to Africa to do a favor for the Black Panther.
