V Season 2 Trailer

The first season of V hit the ground running and unfortunately dropped to slow walking speed after a few episodes. The main reason being the CGI was better in the original series and although the alien invasion was plausible the relationship between Tyler and Laura Vandervoort‘s alien princess character was a bit of a stretch of the imagination.

ABC has renewed V for a second series which going off the spoiler is everything the first series wanted to be. The CGI has improved, Tylers face melts off in acid rain within the first few minutes, and you finally get to see what the lizard people look like under the human skin.

Season 2 kicks off on the 4th January 2011 with the first episode titles “Red Rain”.

Synopsis

Anna has unleashed Red Sky on the planet. With the world on the brink of war and chaos all around, is there anyone who can stand up to her? Meanwhile, Ryan has been kept in isolation on the mother-ship, away from his hybrid baby so that Anna can experiment on her; Chad, seeking redemption for being used by Anna, now wants to fight with the Fifth Column; and Erica goes on a journey to find a scientist who can give her the answers to what Red Sky is, and where she learns the horrifying secret of what the V’s are doing on our planet.
