On March 28th 2015 X-men star Hugh Jackman Tweeted a message out to his fans that they didn’t want to read. It was the news he would only be making one more appearance as Wolverine.

With his most of the focus on the previous X-Men movies being on Wolverine it was thought he would return the next movie leaving fans wondering what happened to the Wolverine 3.

Now Director James Mangold has confirmed Hugh Jackman will be returning to make the next Wolverine movie due out 2017 which means he won’t be in X-Men: Apocalypse.

It probably wont be a massive surprise to a lot of fans as X-Men: Apocalypse will be a prequel to the original X-Men movies and introduce a young team of mutants including a young Jean Grey, Storm and Cyclops.

With the next Wolverine movie being the last it’s going to be epic, we should see Wolverine in his yellow suit and they will probably bring in some pretty big bad guys for the movie.

If they decide to re cast Wolverine for future X-men movies or just stay in that void before he joins the X-men we will have to wait to find out.
