Full picture of movie Sentinel

The latest on set picture from X-Men Days of Future past shows directer Bryan Singer standing next to a live sized Sentinel.

It is reminiscent of the Transformers movie set picture we saw while Michael Bay was shooting those. Life sized models are going hand in hand with CGI to bring more realistic effects to life. Anyone who has seen the original Star Wars movies with the models and compared them to the “remastered” CGI ones would agree sometimes modern tech can’t keep up with actual detailed models.

A lot of fans are probably disappointed we haven’t got to see the classic look Sentinels which has a more classic robot look about them and were a lot taller.

Taking a look at the Sentinel photo it looks like this is a Mark 2 model and looking back to the comics there was maybe five types of Sentinel so the chances are we may still see a classic looking model or even a Master Mold.
