Following on from the 2025 Superman movie which was written and directed by James Gunn we get another take on one of the last surviving Kryptonians. The 2026 Supergirl movie will star Milly Alcock in what is looking to be the biggest comic book movie of the year.

We first had our first official look at Milly as Kara in the mid credits scene in Superman and it gave us a short but very fresh take on the character.

Supergirl is one character thats had a few live action incarnations and to be honest they have all been great, I think it works as the comics have had they own variants on the character over the years.
