The Dark Horse comic, The Umbrella Academy, written by My Chemical Romances’ Gerard Way, is a story of 47 randomly born babies by women showing no signs of pregnancy. Then by millionaire Reginald Hargreeves adopted 7 of the children and when asked why he did so he replied “To save the world.”

The Umbrella Academy has had two series the first being The Umbrella Academy Apocalypse suit and the second The Umbrella Academy Dallas it has also had 3 short stories named: …but the past ain’t through with you, Safe & sound and Anywhere but here. The Umbrella Academy has been optioned for a film adaption hopefully released in 2012.
