Comics Released this week – Wednesday 28th of March 2012

Another epic week for new releases. DC has the 5th printing of Action Comics #1, I may be wrong but I think this is a comic first. I cant think of another comic which has been reprinted so many times and in the same year too. Well done to DC and Grant Morrison for this comic first.

A personal must buy will be Richard Starkings Elephantmen #38. It’s one of Image comics best titles at the moment and really needs to be read if you’re into sci-fi, hot comic chicks or giant mutant animals with guns. This months issue will feature the death of a fairly major character in the series.

Marvel is launching the latest Avengers vs X-Men story line this week with Avengers Vs X-men #0. It’s being hyped as one of the best series Marvel will do this year so it’s well worth a buy if your local comic book shop has any left. The Avengers movie release date is only a few weeks away and this could be a sign of what Marvel want to do next with the movies. After the Avengers movies are released and the X-men 4-6 movies are out we might see an Avengers vs X-men trilogy in the near future.
