Comics Released this week – Wednesday 19th of September 2012

In the wake of Dredd 3D being released I really just want to read every bit of 2000AD I can get my hands on. Its another example of why DC and Marvel need to up the game. They were once the only big publishers in comics with everyone else being classed as an indie but now the quality of comics coming from other publishers is just getting higher with DC losing face with fans.

This weeks we also have issue #102 of Walking Dead and Elephantmen #43 from Image comics. Both titles have been amazing reads over the last few months and keep getting better with each issue. Saying that the cover of Elephantmen looks a bit crazy but Richard Starkings is the Don when it comes to writing comics and could sell Elephantmen on his epic reputation even without the awesome chicks, mutants and heavy weapon wars in the series.

Walking Dead is a series I read on and off but its recently got really exciting with the brutal death of Glen recently.

If you do want to catch more Dredd prog 1800 is out which is apparently a good jump on issue of all things 200AD.
