Did Flash just tease Superman in Earth 2

Whenever someone creates a live action TV show or movie based on a comic you know to keep an eye out for easter eggs and nods to the source material. It happens all the time to help ground the live action version to the comics and keep the fan happy and watching just like all those Stan Lee cameos in the Marvel movies.

In episode 2 of the second season of the Flash we see a different version of the world as they introduce the multiverse. In this world Star Labs is a thriving science hub and fan favourite Harrison Wells is running the place as he should be. During the scene at the end of the episode a tour guide is showing some kids through the labs and we see something in the background that looks remarkably like Supermans Kryptonian ship which saved him from Kryptons destruction as a baby.

The only thing that looks off about the ship is that it has green on it where the comic versions tended to use red. Also with Flash now using the multiverse just about anything could happen in the show. This might not be Supermans ship but maybe another Kryptonian, with the new Supergirl TV show starting maybe this is Earth 2’s Supergirl aka Powergirl which could appear in any of the TV shows.

Nothing has been confirmed yet but with the makers of Flash and Arrow they rarely put something in an episode they don’t later want to use in the show. We will have to keep watching to see what this could be, even if Clark Kent’s Superman wont appear in the show there is no telling who they might want to use.
