Comics Released this week – Wednesday 2nd of May 2012

This could be the greatest first week of the year for comic fans. Not only is it the week the world gets to see Avengers in the cinema but its a pretty good week for new releases too.

DC comics is rolling on to month 9 of the reboot. Action comics is out with what I think it going to start the second volume of the TPBs. Smallville Season 11 #1 is also out this week. What happened to the Red Blue Blur after he got his costume and whats Lex Luthor going to do now he’s back.

With the cancellation of a few titles last month we have the next batch of DCnU comics including Earth 2, Dial H and Worlds Finest.

Image comics is also out to spoil us too with Elephantmen #39. They are also launching a few new series this week with Epic Kill, Mind the Gap and Danger Club

Marvel has a selection of Avengers comics out this week to help get those who can’t get to see the movie in the first week.
